Character Age: 42 [the answer to LIFE, the UNIVERSE, and EVERYTHING! ahaha, way too amused by that.]
What kind of wand does your character possess? Thirteen inches. Dragon Heartstring core, which is good for 'change' magic such as Transfiguration. Hazelnut bark.
Hazelnut, the Extraordinary: Charming, undemanding, very understanding, knows how to make an impression, active fighter for social cause, popular, moody and capricious lover, honest and tolerant partner, precise sense of judgement.

Describe your character's strengths (both magically and personality-wise. Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi, etc. are extremely rare and you MUST have Mod Permission.):
Albert is mostly a reserved person. He's not shy, but he's quiet, taking things in and analyzing them in his own way. He's also a very loyal person, defending the people and causes he believes in with everything he has. He has quite the sense of justice, which is what led him to becoming a Hit Wizard -- he very much believes that those who commit wrongs should be fairly punished.
He's a registered animagus -- a dog, breed Ainu. While in dog form he has a mostly white coat, with some hints of grey.
In school, he excelled most in Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts, though he also did quite well in Potions, Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy, while being passing average at Charms.
Describe your character's flaws/weaknesses:
Being a reserved person, he doesn't have many close friendships. He trusts those that he works with to the extent that he has to, but not beyond, and does not bring his personal life into the office. He is not, nor has he ever been, married, and doesn't tend to make those close personal connections as he is quite wrapped up in both his job and the Order.
He also has a tendency to ignore the things he is sub-par at, making those things worse than they could possibly be since he hates dealing with them -- such as his detachment from the world. He's very much a hands-on sort of man, and would rather be out catching criminals than behind his desk doing paperwork, which leads to him getting quite behind on such things.
In school, he did horribly in Herbology and History of Magic. While he was slightly better at Astronomy, he didn't even attempt the NEWT class, as he can't explain how he made even an A on the OWL.
